The only meal worth eating here is breakfast--seriously love it and have zero complaints with that (although in all honesty, if you screw up breakfast, you shouldn't be in business!) We've been for lunch and dinner a few times and tried different items and were severely disappointed with those...when I order a fish and chips dinner, I expect a piece of actual fish-NOT some flat, cardboard, minced fish, frozen thing I can pick up at my local grocery store! The veggies were gross too.
The parking lot is always full of cars, so we decided we finally had to visit Homestead. Well, one club sandwich later and one omelette later, we felt we were swimming in grease and fake gravy with the fries. We were so disappointed. Everything was just bad and sat like a stone in our bellies for hours later. Frozen food, poor quality luncheon meat in the club sandwich.....not good at all.
Breakfast: I've only eaten here for breakfast however it's always packed, telling you that it's loved by many people. I drive 30 minutes to get to this restaurant when possible as the staff are friendly, the prices are great and the food is great. They really make you feel at home at this location from the food they serve to the wooden cabin-style walls.
