A pedorthist is trained in the design, manufacture, and fit of orthotics or footwear. Pedorthic practitioners are certified by the College of Pedorthics of Canada. Your doctor may recommend you to a pedorthist if you are experiencing foot pain, have a condition which may affect your feet or legs, or have noticed an abnormal wear pattern to your shoes.
