Good food. You can't blame the flaws of their staff. Most of them don't speak english, so what? And the place is always packed, doesn't it show that there are many good things about the restaurant hence the amount of returning satisfied customers. If you're going to complain about the washrooms, go check out the OTHER chinese restaurants also.

JUST HORRIBLE ! RUDE RUDE RUDE....did I say...

JUST HORRIBLE ! RUDE RUDE RUDE....did I say RUDE? This was truly a horrible expereice with service , food was not fresh...it tasted like yesterdays left overs, not to mention we had no idea what we were eating because noone spoke english to tell us what we were picking off the cart. The Fish tanks were appauling with half dead fish.....that was horible to see...I lost my apetite over that not to mention the smell of urine in the hallway to bathroom....which i refused to use after seeing how filthy it was.I will never go back and believe me it was really that bad !!! If you are looking to be repulsed, degrated & want to throw up....then go to the Emerald.

Like someone mentioned before, the writers of most of the poor reviews of this restaurant don't understand the nature of a Chinese restaurant. Bathrooms in Chinese restaurants are never clean or fully functional. One always has to wait for a table if the Chinese restaurant is good (good food = more customers = longer wait). And the staff isn't going to be jumping for joy if they aren't able to communicate with you. As someone who is Chinese, I thought the food was very tasty, creative, and fresh. It was a tad oily and the white rice is a little old, but the entrees that we ordered were very good. One of the waiters ignored us a few times, but the other staff were perfectly friendly. If you want authentic Chinese food come here, but make sure you go with someone who can read off of the Chinese menu and order off of that instead.

Emerald is a good joint for Dim Sum and Chinese food in general,even that we are non-chinese we always get good service there,my 2 kids love the attention that they get there.
