Food was horrible chop suey was like mush and chicken balls were like rubber did not find one piece of chicken in my chicken fried rice. Never again I ordered a number 1 and a number 6, threw it all in garbage a wasted $36 Lesson learned I guess
Awful customer service, I got yelled at for telling them they accidentally put two pieces of hot pepper in my soup and all 4 times I’ve ordered they’ve gotten something wrong, then the lady who owns it says she did nothing wrong and it was my fault for not knowing what I’m eating. After I said I wanted a replacement soup this one time she yelled “we don’t give out free food” and hung up. She then CALLED ME BACK to tell me again she didn’t do anything wrong and I should’ve saw the pepper. CRAZY!
The day i decided to try Golden wok, i found hair in my food, the owner was extremly rude, i will not be coming back to this restaurant again.. thumbs down for me
This is a gem. My favorite Asian restaurant between Vancover and Toronto. It would compare well to the best in San Francisco or NYC.
This is a small family owned and operated place in an old part of TB. It has excellent fresh cooked to order dishes at low cost. Totally authentic Vietnamese and Chinese. Delightful service. Very moderately priced. I visit each time I come to TB.

The noodlebowls are amazing. I have ordered take-out, got there early and had it be ready in 10 minutes. I have tried other menu items as well, and very much enjoyed the food every time. The more authentic vietnamese dishes are excellent, and there are the usual chinesefood orders available for the less adventurous.
One of my favorites, and i would recommend it to anyone.
We eat here from week at least once per week. Although I do the authenticity of the noodle bowl, I tend to try something different almost everytime we go. Everything has been fantastic!! Clean woks = Great food. Vietnamese foods all great and Canadian Chinese some of the best I have ever had. Don't change a thing about the food!!!
Although most of my gang ordered the 'noodle bowl' (with either beef or shrimp) I enjoyed the pho and rice roll. It's great to have some Vietnamese cuisine in our humble city. May I suggest placing salad rolls on your menu and offering Vietnamese coffee?

I found a hair in my noodle bowl and the manager didn't care! He only offered fifty percent off and said it was no big deal. I am disgusted and won't go back here. Beware! If he doesn't care about hairy food, what other unsafe food handling practices is this restaurant doing? I should have received an apology immediately with an offer of a refund...I shouldn't have to haggle!
