Hemphill GM has supported many activities throughout communities of Prince County during the past 25 years, including sporting activities, charitable organizations, Special Olympics, Chamber of Commerce, and hospitals throughout Prince County. As well, Hemphill GM was inducted into P.E.I.'s Sports Hall of Fame in Sept 2002, for their part in the success of the Western Capitals Hockey Club.
