Pattes et Griffes Inc

Pattes et griffes is an upscale pet food and accessories store with a very specific mission: to feed dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents and reptiles with the best products available on the market, all in a holistic way and in complete harmony with the specific needs of each animal.

Store manager Francis Draper says that originally, the three owners of Pattes et griffes owned a Fido store. After selling the company, the partners looked for a new project. Perhaps inspired by the same spirit that gave the name to their telecommunications company, they decided to get into the pet food business. But not just any pet food: it had to be the best.

They spent more than a year researching the market to find out what factors went into good food for each type of animal — which ingredients to emphasize and which to avoid. Armed with this knowledge, they opened Pattes et griffes in the fall of 2011.
