Easter weekend is quickly approaching, so if you’re not cooking/eating at home, you want to ensure you’re going to celebrate the holiday right. Here are 5 restaurants that have put together fabulous menus that aren’t a bore. (Note: Reservations are recommended. Please contact the restaurants directly.)
Head to TOCA for Easter Brunch ($98/pp) on Sunday. While it might be a little more than you usually spend, the selections include Smoked & Cured (Genoa Salami, Capicolla, Prosciutto, Sopresatta, Bresaola, for example) and From the Garden (Shrimp & Sugar Snap Pea Salad with carrot & ginger dressing), making it the perfect foray into spring.
Café Boulud’s Easter Prixe Fixe Brunch ($65/pp) on Sunday features a range of flavours from Matzoh Ball Soup to Duck Confit Hash with poached farm egg, watercress, mustard and seared foie gras. Whatever you do, make sure to get the Warm Madeleines for dessert. They are the best in the city. And it’s okay if you have too many – it’s a holiday. It doesn’t count.
