Everyone loves a good party, but how exciting can a party really be without any games? These 3 party games are enough to keep the entertainment going and the laughs flowing during a party for any occasion.

This is a relatively easy game, and though many people play it during Christmas parties, it can be enjoyed any time of the year. The game is perfect for parties where everyone is in the same room, such as when sitting around the dinner table. Here's how it works:

• Everyone wears a hat for the game. Many choose to wear the crowns from Christmas crackers, which is where the game gets its name.
• Once all hats are on, everyone goes about their conversations.
• The party host, or whoever is chosen beforehand, will inconspicuously remove their hat at some point. At this point, everyone else must do the same.
• The last person with a hat on loses.

'Who am I?' is a guessing game that involves everyone at the party. Here's how to play:

• Write every attendee's name on a sticky note and go around the party posting these notes on the backs of party goers.
• Make sure everyone has a name on their back that is not their own.
• Everyone then takes turns pairing up with another individual and asking that person 20 yes-or-no questions to see if they can figure out whose name they have on their back.
• If they don't get it in 20 questions, they lose!

This is a classic party game that's loads of fun for young and old, in groups both big and small. Here's how it works:

• Everyone is split into two teams. Everyone is given a slip of paper, on which they write a word or phrase. It can be fun to choose specific categories – for example, everyone writes down the name of a movie or song.
• Each team's paper slips are placed in a bowl and given to the other team.
• One at a time, the members of each team take turns drawing a slip from the bowl that their team was given. Once a player sees the word or phrase on their slip, they stand in front of the group and act out the word or phrase without speaking. The other members of their team try to guess the word or phrase being acted out.
• There is usually a time limit within which the team must correctly guess the word or phrase. If they succeed, their team gets one point; if they fail, the opposing team gets a point.
• The two teams take turns sending someone up to draw a slip of paper and act until everyone has had a turn acting.
• The team with the most points at the end wins.
