Best bets for Easter Brunch in Toronto

This year, celebrate Easter with the whole family over brunch! Toronto restaurants are pulling out all the stops, from Easter egg hunts to visits from the Easter Bunny himself. The Old Mill Inn hosts a Good Friday and Easter Brunch for the whole family this year. The Easter Eggstravaganza Buffet includes a carved roast beef, baked bone-in ham, lamb, pasta, fish and more! There’s also the classic chicken fingers and fries for the kids. Diners can choose from an array of desserts including cakes, mousses and pastries. As if the food weren’t enough, word has it the Easter Bunny is going to drop by. There are eight seatings every half hour starting at 10 a.m. Reservations are a must! Cost: $47.95, Children: $24.95.

Dine in Toronto’s infamous castle this Easter. Offering a gourmet selection of brunch items, Casa Loma’s annual brunch takes place on Sunday this year. The  delectable menu includes a selection of domestic and imported cheeses, a seafood bar, smoked trout and a 72-hour short rib! As always the pastry chefs at Casa Loma have whipped up some of their best desserts, including biscotti and a delicious Belgian Waffle with flambéed strawberries. Guests are free to roam the castle once they’ve completed their meal. It all starts at 10 a.m. and reservations are required. Cost: $75, Children (four to 13 years old): $55, Children under three years old: Free.

All Easter weekend, from Good Friday to Easter Sunday, Miku hosts its Easter Zen Brunch. The brunch offers Miku’s aburi-style sushi, and features nine dishes inspired by the spring season. The brunch starts with the chef’s sashimi and continues with kaiso salad, tamagoyaki, ebi fritters with scallop tempura, hamachi, the famous aburi sushi and more! Reservations are mandatory and dates are available starting April 14 through to April 16. Cost: $45.

Epic hosts an Easter brunch that is fun for the entire family. The menu is Canadian themed, filled with items like smoked salmon, local Ontario cheeses and honey glazed ham, made with Royal York’s award-winning rooftop honey! Adults also get to build their own Caesar with more than 30 ingredients to choose from. While the adults get creative, kids are invited to go on an Easter egg hunt with a very special guest! The brunch starts at 11 a.m., with the Easter egg hunt taking place on the Mezzanine Level at noon. Cost: $75, Children: $37.50. Reservations are recommended.

For an elevated Easter brunch, Café Boulud is serving up a culinary feast this year! The menu includes gourmet items like berry tartine, onion soup, Canadian oysters and its famous charcuterie board - that’s just the appetizers! On the entree side of things Café Boulud offers lemon ricotta hotcakes, omelettes, eggs Benedict, and its signature rotisserie chicken and waffles. On the sweeter side of things get ready for Café Boulud’s blueberry sundae and the unique grapefruit Givre. It all takes place Sunday and reservations are required. Cost: $78.

Sustainable and delicious, Globe Bistro hosts its annual Easter brunch Sunday, which includes a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny. The brunch is three-courses, so you can take your pick of the infamous sustainable eats! Choose from quiche Lorraine, slow roasted Wellington County ribeye, trout gravlax, and more. Save room for dessert, because Globe Bistro lets you decide between flourless chocolate torte and apple upside down cake. Kids get their own menu, plus treats from the Easter Bunny! Cost: $29, Children (12 and under): $12. Reservations are recommended.

Dine like royalty this Easter, at the King Edward Hotel! The brunch, starting at 10:30 am, is served buffet style. All of the brunch favourites will be there, including the New Zealand lamb, traditional beef Wellington and a seafood station. If you can’t make the brunch, you can check out the Easter Spring Tea taking place the day before (Saturday). Reservations are required. Cost: $89, Seniors: $80, Children (six to 12 years old): $44, Children under five years old: Free.

Montecito celebrates  Easter the only way they know how - with a farm-to-table brunch buffet! On Easter Sunday you can join the newly appointed Chef Matt Simpson who has created a feast that includes all seasonal ingredients! Fun for the whole family, there will be Easter treats and a colouring contest for the kids. The whole thing kicks off at 11 am. Reservations are required. Cost: $45.

Colette hosts its annual Easter Brunch on Sunday, and you can expect every Parisian delicacy! The brunch includes a selection of seafood, charcuterie board, seasonal salads and more! Brunch with the whole family in Colette’s stunning Parisian-style bakery, or in the dining room. Colette is known for its delectable French pastries, including croissants and madeleines. It all starts at 10 am, and reservations are required. Cost: $75.
