Caroline moved to Vancouver to study Economics and Political Science at UBC, and was astounded upon her arrival by all the incredible food options. Exploring delicious places to eat quickly became a hobby, and she eventually created @eatingYVR on Instagram as her solution to the ever-pressing question – “what do people do with the pictures they take of food?”
The West Coast might truly be the best coast, with its access to fresh ocean-ingredients and highly skilled Japanese chefs. Vancouver’s sushi joints have a wide variety of offerings (for a wide variety of budgets!), from authentic melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to wild fusion rolls you never would’ve expected to enjoy.
