Brought an expensive fridge from this store and it broke within 3 weeks of buying it. That was in June - it is now November and it still has not been fixed. Every time we phoned Jays Appliances (the guy who fixes the fridges) or Stony, they say they are going to call back and never do - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORE! We are redoing our house and now we will never go back here. So glad we discovered this before we purchased everything else.
I have dealt with Ken and Dean at Stony TV for 20 plus years. I've always had a great experience. They are extremely knowledgable on the products and are more than willing to spend as much time as necessary with their customers to make sure they are making an informed decision when making a purchase. Anything I have ever bought was either on time or if it was on back order from the manufacturer, I was notified and offered alternatives. I highly recommend them for any appliance, TV, home theatre needs!
I ordered a stove, washer and dryer set from Stony TV and Appliance on June 18th. We were told it would be delivered on July 6th. We hadn't heard anything from them, so on the 9th of July we phoned. They said our stove and washer were in, but our dryer was back ordered. They told us delivery for everything was scheduled for the 20th. We asked for them to at least deliver the stove and washer so we could eat and wash clothes. They told us that their policy was to deliver items together and we would have to wait. I called several times and the manager, Dean, failed to return my phone calls. When I asked for a discount, they said they could either give me soap or $100 off. That didn't seem fair for the poor customer service I had endured and added expense of eating out and using a laundromat. It's July 23rd and my appliances are still yet to be delivered. I cancelled my order with them and will go to Trail Appliances in Edmonton!
