The Burnaby Youth Hub School is a secondary alternate education program run by the Burnaby School District at the Burnaby Youth Hub site. The school has been created to meet the needs of students who have had challenges and difficulties succeeding at traditional high schools. The program is designed for students aged 13-19 years, who have dropped out of the regular school system or who have very high levels of non-attendance even though they have not officially withdrawn. Classes are small and offer great opportunity for academic success.Together with the teachers, students design their own unique program based on their needs and availability. For some, this may mean attending morning classes 5 days a week; for others it may mean attending our Tuesday and Thursday afternoon sessions only.
