I have worked with Nannies On Call in both Victoria and Vancouver, B.C., and my experiences have been nothing but good. I was impressed with the credentials and training required to be considered a NOC nanny, and knowing that both the nanny and the family have been 'screened' is a comfort to all. From 3 months (twins!) through 15 years old, and 4 hours through 7 days, my work with NOC has been anything but "routine" - there's always someone new to meet, a new game to discover or invent, and each family has a personality of its own. I've yet to nanny for a family that I wouldn't happily return to, and have spent time with some pretty amazing little ones in my time with NOC. I am now working full-time, and I only request the nanny jobs that sound the most fun to me and take the gigs where I'm requested, whenever possible. I don't work with NOC for the pay - though it's definitely fair - but for the chance to get a kid-fix and have some fun 'family time' on the weekends.
