As a lover of aesthetics, I’ve always been pretty particular about what’s pleasing to the eye. That’s proven to be both a blessing and a curse, as sometimes there doesn’t seem to be a lot out there that fits. Sometimes, though, I step into a room and my senses are immediately overwhelmed by beauty. And that’s exactly what happens each time I visit The Cross Decor and Design. Beautifully curated and perfectly styled, it’s just the kind of place that I could get lost in and wander around for hours.
Decor darlings with a penchant for all things interesting can happily spend more than an hour seeking stylish inspiration at The Cross’ beautiful showroom. The blog-worthy vignettes throughout the shop are designed to show off the feminine furnishings and covetable home accessories. Stop in to get some autumnal decorating inspiration and you’re sure to leave with a few glitter-dipped ceramic pumpkins. We also love the geometric glass lanterns in smoky hues and chic Brazilian cowhide rugs speckled with shimmering copper flecks.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful stores in Vancouver, The Cross boasts a large showroom with an exquisite selection of gifts that would charm even the pickiest of brides. Shop here for feminine throw pillows, art deco inspired bar cart accessories, luxe loungewear and one-of-a-kind prints and sculptural wall art. Just be careful, you may end up walking out with a gift (or two) for yourself!
It might not be cheap, but my god it’s beautiful. Vancouver decor darlings experience heart palpitations at the mere mention of this gorgeous Yaletown showroom. Shop here for exquisite decorative items such as romantic Florentine serving trays and gold sculptural wreaths that will bring a sense of European opulence to your wedding day. Meanwhile, the stationery section is stocked with party garlands, ornate cake toppers, table numbers, place cards, pastel confetti kits and classic milk glass cake plates. Better yet, sign up for the store’s wedding registry while you’re there and add some items to your wish list.
