Lee's Electronic has been established since 1993. We are situated in the heart of Vancouver. We have been proudly serving the local businesses, manufacturers and people for almost 20 years. We are one of few remaining electronic component stores in the lower mainland area. We provide services in multilingual context. We also provide technical support for students from elementary to undergraduate. We have access to distributors and manufacturers from Canada, United States, Europe, as well as parts of Asia. Meet the owner

In every sense of the phrase, Lee's Electronic Components is a family business. “My father, myself, my sister's helping out,” explains co-owner and sales manager Raymond Wong. “My wife is involved. It's pretty much everybody.”

And for more than 10 years, Raymond and his family have been providing electronics and hardware to tech-savvy Vancouverites – everything from the highly specialized (including integrated circuits, capacitors, and oscillators) to more mainstream fare like adaptors and smartphone accessories. Clientele ranges in age and interest, and includes students, professionals and members of the city's burgeoning DIY maker community, all of whom are ably served at two Mount Pleasant locations.

The tech business is in Raymond's blood; not only does he have a Bachelor of Technology in electronics from BCIT, but his father spent more than 30 years as a repair technician. “It runs in the family,” he says. “My Dad had been in the repair business, so I'd been helping fix things and looking at electronics my whole life. We used to buy from [Lee's] when I was still in school. So, we saw this opportunity and decided: 'Ok, might as well give it a try'.”

    I have been buying from Lee Electronics for over 20 years. They are down to earth people to deal with. They are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. They will help you with anything you need for your project and even more - give you valuable advises when substituting components. They are the only store I will go for my electronic needs. We need to appreciate and support them for the many years to come. Thank you guys for being local and convenient. Dino

    Terrible experience with the owner. When his employee was helping the customer, he had the audacity to not only yell at his employee for helping the customer but yell at the customer for wasting time. Bad electronics store with an even worse management. Stay clear.
