This restaurant is best restaurant in the Canada province I would reate it 9/10.
Great little place. Absolutely hopping at lunch time during the week. It's small and a bit tight inside and expanding would probably be a good idea, but the food is yummy and cheap. Even guys in suits are there at lunch time. Don't live in the area anymore but will definitely make the stop whenever I drive by!
Probably my favourite food in Kingston... Mmm... I dream of Tom Yum soup. Soooo good. I have never ordered anything I didn't like here, but I'm hooked on that soup now. Definitely go for the food - it's not an "atmosphere" kind of restaurant, although I kind of like it.
If I could eat red curry tofu every day, I just might. Especially the wonderful version that Cambodian Village consistently offers. With most if not all dishes falling between $5-$10, and generous portion sized, the value is excellent and the quality top-notch. The inside of the restaurant isn't much to look at, and if you want to eat in during a busy time you'll feel a little crowded. Make it to go, and even over a busy lunch or dinner hour you'll have your order within 10 minutes. I see other reviewers are just as addicted to their favourite dishes as I am to my red curry tofu - maybe next time I'll be willing to give it up in favour of something else... but maybe not!
The food was not fresh and extremely salty which made it difficult to finish. Worst yet was the cleanliness of the restaurant- check out their fans! Gross!
They have 7 new dishes and i'm dying to try them all. The cashew chicken is absolutely amazing. It was steaming hot when the food got to my table, and the service is great. Definitely plan on going back to try everything else!
couldn't believe how good the pad thai was here..the best i've had since i can remember..best pad thai ever
Cambodian Village is a great place to go for a nice quiet lunch. The spicy chicken is awesome. I am too much of a wuss to try anything more cultural. I get ths spicy chicken pretty much everytime and it has never let me down. I do have to get double meat because they are a bit stingy on the chicken. The one server they have there is the man.
amazing food! I recommend the pineapple& tofu w/ black bean sauce, any curry dish, and they have the best pad thai in town!
I've been coming here for quite a while now and I've always had the same thing - the phad thai is the amazing, its the best food in the world. I'll be having again and again for years to come
Phad thai is the greatest thing in the world. It was possibly the greatest thing i've ever eaten in my life. I highly reccommend coming here. I'm coming back until I try everything
I can honestly say that this is the best soup i've ever had. I usually order it mild and with chicken instead of the beef (but the beef is really good too) It's amazing.. get that. And try the phad thai.. it's also very very good. Everything else on the menu looks delicious. I definitely plan to go back again.
The BEST Thai food in Kingston. I could never order anything other than the No1 because it is incredible. Then I tried the Soup..with shrimp and chicken..TRY IT!
#1, #1, #1!! Always get the number 1. It's good, and they deliver in a hurry.
Always excellent food, great prices. Definitely a great restaurant.
I am a loyal customer. My kids LOVE #1 made mild. The staff gladly split it for sharing with two kids at no extra charge, and there is plenty of food on the plate (more than they can eat). My kids say this is their favorite restaurant. I ussually get the tofu pad thai or rice noodles with vegetarian spring rolls. Fantastic. The wife ussually tries different items each time, and always raves about the newest dish she tries. The food is prepared fresh and hot, and is delicous. Portions are big. I often recommend this place as Kingston's hidden treasure.
this is the second time ive tried the phad thai there...the noodles were over cooked again. I dont recomend the phad thai...number 1 is good there tho.
great food, best thai i've had in kingston, and pretty cheap too! i love this place.
This is a great place to eat. The cooks/owners are very friendly, and they made delicious food. The place fills up very quickly for lunch and dinner, so you have to get there early. The entire menu is/looks delicious... they have pictures of every dish, so you can see what you'll get.. I eat there all the time with friends, and its been a great experience every time. Prices are very low, which is nice for a student budget!
One of my two favourite Thai restaurants in Kingston. The food is fantastic, and it is usually served up very fast, which is great for lunch. Love the red and green curried chicken, and the fish cakes.
