Chronic Clothing, the latest boutique to hit high-end Avenue Road, is on a mission to provide reasonably priced clothing without sacrificing on quality. While there are no shortage of boutiques in Toronto, entrepreneur and fashion enthusiast Diane Alperin has responded to the gap in designer affordability by sourcing out good quality products, materials, and prices. “Even though we have the Avenue Road address, we don’t have the Avenue Road prices,” she says. The store’s designed so that customers can pull together an outfit for $250 or less.
Since the shop’s launch in early 2015, the store is already living up to its namesake with its addictively stylish professional and casual women’s clothing. Diane carries no more than two or three samples of each item – with new stock arriving weekly – so clients have to jump quickly on their favourite pieces.
