I ordered kare-kare and I had diarrhea. Fir time to buy here and will never comeback.
Perfect dishes! Love everything
The food here is great. The grilled pork liempo is to die for! Staff are friendly, items are reasonably priced.
Their combos are too pricey,,,I ordered 2 bombos and paid almost $20. Food is cold and they try to compensate the pricey food by giving you 2 cups of rice with your combo.
place is ok lang, nothing special service ok lang din food, NOT consistent (quantity/amount they put on your plate) price, a bit expensive for combo cleanliness..not that bad, but the washroom STINKS!!
being half filipino, i have tried numerous filipino dishes.. my dad used to cook adobo and thats my favorite..This restaurants cooking of adobo was boring and too salty.. Not recmmended!
we went to scarboro to visit some friends and we had lunch at jesse jr. we're from oakville btw. The food was just regular.. I dont see anything special with it like other people are saying. I guess they were good at first (when new) and quality is simply sliding down. My mom cooks better and shes not even trained as a traditional filipino cook. I could have spent my money on a better place, maybe a chinese restaurant.
-lots of selections -ample staff for speedy service. - The BBQ sauce was good, but the meat itself is like rubber. - expensive,, price doesnt match quality of food (compared to chinese food) - utensils are plastic.. very inconvenient to use.
the isda was great!! soo is the bangus, it melted like chocolate. I drink sinigang in a minute. Go Manny Pacman!!
small and cozy. not very extrvagant but great phillopino style food and excellent service
restaurant is very clean, staff is VERY friendly, it is my second choice for filipino dining (only cus mom still comes first)...great job jesse jr.
The Pancit Bihon was quite good but lacking in rekado, but the portion was generous. Their Palabok looked yummy but I'll try it next time. The ensaimada was not fresh at all. Can't find a Pinoy resto that has a full table service here in T.O. Any recommendations? Most of the eateries here in TO serving this ethnic food lack visual appeal. But hey! Can't really complain. They do us a favor, specially busy moms like me. No more labouring in the kitchen after work.
