We are all born with the capacity to bring something to this world. Some of us have the innate "need" to create. It is an interesting and difficult to explain phenomenon. It is hardly an expression of ego because ego and true creativity do not come from the same place. I love trying new materials and new ideas. If we don’t take on challenges that push our abilities to their limits, how would they grow? My customers are people who haven't been able to find a local jeweler capable of bringing their idea to reality. There are many people out there who do custom jewelry, so it would be foolish to say that I am better than everyone else.
