House specialties include pad phed talay, seafood sautéed with coconut milk and basil leaves served on a sizzling hot plate, and ped yang, a boneless roasted duck sautéed with spinach in soy sauce and ginger. Restaurant Thailande in Outremont has been open since the 1980s!

They are known in Montreal as having some of the best Thai dishes in the city, including a fresh mango salad. Their noteworthy pad Thai is authentic and flavourful, and the service is fast and friendly. The prices are a tad higher than most Thai places, but worth every penny.
