Wherever your next business trip, or next vacation, your travel bag gets your belongings where they need to be. Valise Mondiale populates its store with all manner of bags that one could ask for. “We speacialize in luggage, business cases, and computer cases. Much of our of items are business and travel-oriented,” says owner Pierre Hamamji. They are one of six Valise Mondiale locations scattered across Montreal, and have been in their Eaton Centre location since 1998.

Anyone who’s on the move is in need of a good quality bag that will last, which gives Valise Mondiale a decidedly large customer base. “People actually carry more things these days because of laptops and the all the bits and parts that come with them,” says Pierre. For example, the modern day businessman no longer carries a heavy briefcase strewn to the brim with papers. “Everybody carries a backpack – businessmen, travelers, everybody. People are more mobile these days and they travel more. You can get a nice professional looking backpack for $50-$75.”
