Bakery Sate is not exclusively gluten free, but it does feature daily creative specials sans gluten. This modern French-style bakery has a full espresso and tea menu, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. So make yourself comfortable and order up a slice of their matcha black sesame cake.
This long-standing institution in Granville Island Market is best known for its decadent desserts, artisan breads and macarons. But their gluten-free Bliss Balls are probably Vancouver’s best-kept secret. So be sure to pop a couple for the perfect fuel-up before an afternoon of shopping.
