I had occasion to visit the Emergency centre at Oilfields Hospital last with a hand wound. I saw a Doctor immediately, hand my hand x-rayed, the wound cleaned, stitched and repaired in less time than would have been required to see a triage nurse at any of the Calgary hospitals. We are so fortunate to have facilities and competent medical staff availble in our rural area.

I was so happy to find a female doctor at this location, in November. Now I find out that, after only being in Canada for a few weeks, she is returning to the U.K. I feel so let down and disappointed, but that's life I guess. Making a big move doesn't always work out.
