As soon as we walked into KCWC,we knew we had found a "home" for our boys.Althea exhibits such a passion for what she does.We have observed lots of positive changes in our boys,from little niceties such as please and thank you,learning to share and big milestones in speech development. Seeing our boys excitement(not tears) when we drop them off,and watching them give her endless hugs every evening confirms that they found their happy place.KCWC is a home daycare with a heart. As a first time parents it was very important to find a daycare were not only our child was comfortable but us as well. This daycare was truly a blessing and after our first child went there we sent our 2nd child and if we had not moved from the area we would have sent our 3rd child as well. Since the day that I met Althea, I couldn't believe how comfortable I felt with the thought of leaving my 11 month old in her care. Now that my son is two, I can truly say that I know that a lot of the things that he does and says is a result of the positive and loving environment in the daycare.
A gesture of simply covering his mouth with his arm when coughing is something my husband and I can't take credit for. Our son hardly gets sick since attending the daycare. We wouldn't have had time to teach him that skill.
Everyday there are different educational activities, recreational outings and craft activities to look forward to. Althea gives every child individual attention, while they are all together. There isn't an opportunity for jealousy.
I would whole heartedly recommend this daycare to all my family and friends. I have complete peace of mind when I am away from my son.
