We had a special dinner planned. We were overjoyed with Pepperwood! The art on the walls throughout the restaurant is worth just the visit! The food impressed us with tons of flavour and great presentation. And the server was interesting and knowledgable. I would definetely recommend it unlike some of the other comments.

Food was excellent but found the brunch platter...

Food was excellent but found the brunch platter to be a little bit overwhelming with the amount of food that we received. Our server was cheerful and it was a joy to have her service. We were greeted at the door by the pepperwood's manager and he helped my elderly mother to our table. We will definately be back and we would recommend Pepperwood's sunday brunch to anyone. Good job!!!

Food was excellent, probally the best short ribs i have had in years. Presentation on food was also very good. Service was alright but better knowledge on wine might be an asset for some servers. Mine anyway.. I will return.

We ate lunch at the reatuarant in the Hendrie...

We ate lunch at the reatuarant in the Hendrie Garden at the Royal Botanical Gardens run by Pepperwood. Though the service was fine and the setting in the rose garden was spectacular the salad was big disappointment. One of the 4 ingredients in the salad was missing and the portion size was tiny. We paid $12.95 for a salad that wasn't even a decent size for an appetizer. The restaurant there was almost empty and I can understand why.
