Very clean environment. I have been going to this spa for my mani/pedis for over 8 years. Trish and John are exceptional, knowledgeable and very kind people.
After cracking my nail badly, I contacted Trish at La Vie Nails. She fit me in immediately--even though her shop was extremely busy--and did not charge me for the repair. Now that's excellent customer service!
I would not go anywhere else. I have found a gem. Clean. Courteous staff. Helpful and accommodating. Now my husband goes there for haircuts and he won't go anywhere else. A great find! My nails are more beautiful than they have been in 20 years, thanks to John's perfectionism. Love this place. Sandra.
Wow. This place needs a lesson in basic customer service. Or even manners. Came here this summer while on vacation and received a 35min spa pedicure that left my heels rough and nasty. No buffing, no cream...what the heck? When I called back, the owner said I could come in and talk to her...I was assuming she would either have someone actually finish the job that was only half started, or at the very least give me a credit towards another pedicure. She proceeded to tell me that my 'body chemistry' (?) gives me rough skin...and to slather on some Vaseline because in her shop "that is a perfect job done". The conversation got a little more irritable and she started shouting at which point her husband came out front too. WHAT. Totally embarrassing scene in front of her customers, and I wasn't about to get into it anymore, though I could see she was ready for a fight and almost invited it...good grief. I really couldn't believe I had wasted my time and $40. I stopped at London Drugs and grabbed a buffing block and well wouldn't you know...my feet were restored. I'll stay home next time.
When I requested that the polish on my toes be applied wearing the flip flop shoes I brought for that purpose the owner yelled at me. I used to enjoy my visits to this salon but service has gone downhill and the attitude of the owners has become unfriendly and inattentive. They also have the annoying habit of speaking around and possibly about you in their language.
I love this place! My mom introduced me to John and Trish, they are so nice. Every time I come in the shop is so clean and they run on time. I have been happy every time I come out of here! I come every 2 weeks and my nails always look great. Everyone here is friendly, I wouldn't believe the negative reviews. Every time I am here not only are they friendly with me, they greet each customer by name and with a smile!
I really liked going here, I went around 5 times in total. I called to ask to switch my appointment for the current day, I asked to be with the same person, I was at work and tried to hurry. When I got there I picked out my color. She was rushing me and was giving me the dirtiest look while I choose. On the way to sit down the female owner yelled at me in front of a full shop because I didn’t remember her name when I called, she said her name really load and said it was rude of me to forget it

Your staff members have also learned the art of making "US" feel like number one! Both my sister and sister in law love their Christmas Nail and Toes!! This is the worst salon I have visited in my life. They are rude, mean and know nothing about customer service. No one deserves to spend their time or money at this place. They had no hot water when it was freezing cold outside and instead of being descent about it they were so bad, they made me feel as if I was difficult customer asking for hot water when it's freezing outside. Bad attitude, bad place and worst service ever- stay far away
I was so impressed that I tipped 50%. My heels were a mess and they didn't complain or charge me more. They did a very professional job for a very reasonable price.
I have had my nails professionally done for 35 years, in Montreal, Toronto, Florida and Calgary. La Vie Nails and Hair, truly do the best job I have experienced and are always professional, courteous and pleasant. I have no qualms in recommending them to anyone....
I have been dealing with La Vie Hair & Nails since they opened almost 2 years ago. They are wonderful to deal with. I have a nail fill & pedicure every 3 weeks. The shop is very clean & they take this very seriously. I have cancer, so cleanliness is paramount. The owners & staff are extremely courteous, professional, polite, dedicated, kind & accommodating. I am very fussy when it comes to my nails & I have never left disappointed or dissatisfied. I have recommended them to all my friends and I am always complimented on how great my nails look. They are reasonably & competitively priced. I would not go anywhere else. Give them a try!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'll never go anywhere else.
this place was very kind to me, the language is hard to understand, but i can see in their eyes that their trying their best for us to understand. i had no problems with this place, it was spotless, and looked very appealing to the eyes
This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my entire life!! Not only were they rude and unaccomodating, the language barrier was astounding!! The place was less than clean, over priced and I got treated very poorly. I will NOT be returning and I highly recommend you save your $$ and go elsewhere. A -10 in my books!!
