Vintage Affair A

Bonnie Barber and Theresa Morgan both started collecting antiques at a young age. They met in 2010 while selling and collecting online. Theresa was into antique and vintage jewellery, while Bonnie was more interested in clothing from those bygone eras. They realized that together they had a great selection of items from the 1920s to the 1970s and decided to join forces and go into business. “We started out as a pop-up store doing events in random locations and vacant retail places,” says Bonnie. Eventually, they ended up setting up permanent shop in one of those locations, becoming A Vintage Affair. “It was nice," recalls Bonnie, "we didn’t have to cart our stuff around from place to place anymore!”

Many vintage stores are more retro than antique and that’s where A Vintage Affair is different. “We have actual antiques and Victorian items. We have items from the 1920s to the 1970s,” says Bonnie. “That’s our focus.”
