It took forever to get our lunches with some people waiting a full half hour while others ate. We had to search for service and the meals were mediocre at best.
We have been here before and had a great gentleman server so we decided to go on New Years Eve & was very disappointed, the server came to our table to drop off drinks and then bread with other patrons dirty dishes in her arm. When we received our food it was cold, we didnt understand why as the restaurant was more than half empty, when my husband mentioned it to the manager the server initially tried to deny it, It was very disrespectful.
We were at the Boathouse last weekend on Saturday night. We were out celebrating my mother's birthday. We had made reservations the week before and had to speak with a manager because we were a party of 10. She was extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived and were seated immediately by a young girl at the front. The table already had menus and ice water. Our server came over immediatly and took drink orders. We had drinks on the table, appetizers and had our entrees ordered within 25 minutes of arriving. The food was amazing. A young female manager with dark hair stopped by the table to wish my mother a happy birthday. She chatted with us for a few minutes and thanked us for coming. Soon after my mother recieved a free birthday dessert with a sparkler. A wonderful evening had by all and definetly will be returning.
Went here on a date night with the boyfriend. The atmosphere was fantastic and romantic. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the food. I ordered a lobster ravioli dish (for $22 i believe.) and when it arrived I was greeted with a measly portion of only 9 pasta pieces. I couldn't taste the lobster, and i was left feeling hungry. As for my boyfriend, he ordered stuffed prawns. He enjoyed the prawns, but the rice dish was quite undercooked. With only 2 or 3 beers, our tab came to $90 something. We will not be going back.
