At our June 2014 Annual General Meeting (AGM), our Board and members voted to change the name of our organization to Disability Alliance BC. Over the next while, we will be gradually transitioning our website, social media and email addresses to our new name. All communications will be automatically re-routed. We will also have a new logo. We hope you like our new name! We're still doing the same work for the disability community; nothing else has changed. For over 35 years, Disability Alliance BC (formerly BC Coalition of People with Disabilities) has been a provincial, cross-disability voice in British Columbia.Our mission is to support people, with all disabilities, to live with dignity, independence and as equal and full participants in the community.
