Absolutely awful! Do not shop here
The worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed from a store. The sales associate “Gayanne” was extremely rude and condescending to my family as we shopped. I normally support local businesses, even if it means spending extra money, but I wouldn’t give this business a dime.
Needed a new purse for vacation, had little time to shop, and wanted to spend my money locally. When my 2 year old pulled a bag off the shelf, the owner advised me that her store was hard to shop in when your children are not well trained. I went upstairs to Manchester Shoes and bought a $100 bag while the staff there pulled out a puzzle for my son to play with. Will never darken her door again. Rude, obnoxious, completely lacking in empathy. This business owner does not deserve your money.
Im deeply disappointed with a shopping experience I had today at Market Square. I went in with my cousin who's visiting from Montreal to the shop called "Handbags and Brief Cases" with my 2 children, a 14 yrs old boy and my 7 yr old girl. My cousin and I were speaking French so at first I thought the negativity directed at us was 'cause of language discrimination. Now I don't know what to think. Will NEVER shop here again. My husband bought me a purse as a present and was told that if I did not like it "there would be no problem and the purse could be returned." I brought it in the very next day because I really did not like the purse and was told that yes it can be returned but for an exhange or store credit only. I did not like the purse or any in stock so now I am stuck with a store credit and no purse. I would have taken my money and returned again in the future, but they have now lost a customer. Most places give at least 7 days for a return (especially around Christmas). Very poor policy and too bad because I prefer to support local business. Also, the owner happened to be in when we arrived but left immediately when she realized it was a return. She said that her shift was over but as the owner she should have stayed to address our concern not leave it to her employee to deal with such a poor store policy. My advice, go some where else that has reasonable policies and has respectful customer service .
