Having dealt in supplies and classes for this popular hobby and profession for years, owners Dennis and Pauline Francis make a point of stocking their store with the best quality materials and equipment. “We search the globe for quality and variety. Our fabrics come from all over,” says Dennis who adds that customers give them plenty of tips on what they’d like to see in the store.“ Customers are way ahead of us on what they need. They keep us pointed in the right direction.”

Since 2010, they’ve been providing sewing pros and enthusiasts alike with fine cotton fabrics, backings, notions such as needles and thimbles and quality sewing machines. Setting up shop in Bowmanville was a natural move. “We ran a sewing store in Campbell ford for nearly 30 years and were originally from Bowmanville and already had a customer base here so it seemed a good place to operate a store,” says Dennis.
