Worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Waitress never stopped by unless we called loudly to her. Waited 1 hour for the food and then complained about it. Miraculously it comes 2 minutes later (chicken takes a long time to cook - that was her lame excuse). Then had to wait 25 minutes for the bill to come after we were both finished. Do not go to this restaurant!
Me and my husband wanted some change of food from what we had at the hotel we stayed in. We walked around at dinner time and found this place. We had left early from our hotel so that we could make it to the fireworks at 10 pm. We reached this restaurant, which looked fairly good from the outside, at 8 pm. But, the ambiance was horrible. Clothes hanging from lines near the roof! The service was really bad. We had ordered drinks and even when we were ready to order appetizers, she was not there. It seemed like she was ignoring us and serving other people who came in much after us. Even after we finished our dinner, she did not bring our bill. We did leave a tip, because the food was good. No service tip!
Way way way too expensive. Fine dining prices for cafeteria caliber food. Spaghetti was quite pedestrian -- salad was pathetic for an Italian house salad -- soggy with bottled dressing. Bread was not impressive -- I would expect nice crunchy Italian bread. House wine was fine -- however too pricey for the quality. Serving staff was OK -- I thought it odd that for a restarant that was full of kids there was nothing special for them -- no colouring books etc.
All in all -- not a great experience. We will not be returning.
This was the worst meal ever had at a restaurant...
This was the worst meal ever had at a restaurant. Salad was literally a hunk of lettuce with 1/2 soggy hot house tomatoe with Vinnys special dressing (Kraft for sure). Chicken tortellini was inedible. Chicken had an odd texture (maybe canned as were the mushrooms) with no flavour. Tortellini was over cooked and starchy with a touch of canned sauce stuck to the pasta (was supposed to be parma rosa). Steak sandwich was gushy processed meat and think the fries were cooked in motor oil. Had a bottled beer - they couldn't ruin that. We left our entire meals, tipped, paid (that hurt as we ate next to nothing)& left, and went to another restaurant for dinner.
