My husband and I happened upon this place just the other day and decided to try it out.
The restaurant is quite small, but very brightly decorated.
They gave us some tortilla chips and salsa while we waited (not long) for our food. The chips were nice and the salsa - not bad. It was a bit spicey :) I liked the spice, my husband , not so much :)
The chicken chimichangas tasted fresh , not like some other "Mexican" places we've tried. Very crispy and light on the outside and great fresh ingredients on the inside. The chicken was all breast meat - very nice.
I quite liked the refried beans, but thought the rice was only 'okay'. It had a bit of a bite / crunch to it. I'm not sure if it's supposed to taste like that or if it was a tad undercooked.
The staff (one handsome gentleman) was very quiet, but nice/polite.
We'd definately go there again. I'd like to try their Guacamole and fried icecream.
