My husband and I have dinner at Santo's nearly every Friday. We have done so for several years and will continue. We also reserve for New Year's Eve most years. We've been to Italy and did not find a chef who could top Mario's cooking. Great food at a very reasonable price. All of our family members and many friends have joined us at Santo's and they have all raved about the food. Do not believe the negative reviews. They just had a bad night.
I've been going to Santo's for many years now, and the food has always been consistently great. They have great staff, a good atmosphere and great service.The price is right. The portions are big, and the food is delicious. To appreciate this restaurant you have to be a ''regular", the food is always hot , they use fresh ingredients and, in my opinion, Mario makes the best fish. In weekend is very busy don't go with out a reservation.
For years we go to Santo's just to have the roasted garlic and Veal Marsala. Some times we fill adventurist and we chose different dishes and so far we didn’t have bad experiences. On Friday I had people from Montreal over and I took them to Santo’s to impress them. And I was right .They all love’ it .The garlic was the winner, the fish special –Tilapia with lemon sauce was my aunt favorite, Veal Marsala is my husband favorite dish, Chicken Parmigiano and Pasta Alfredo are the dishes my kinds have… and I can go like that for every family member... But overall every one left with a smile on their faces and for me that was a success .Thank you Santo’s! PS: Thank you for the complimentary cake, my aunt was pleasantly surprise. We never experience such a generosity from any establishment.
After reading the negative reviews, I thought dinner is going to be average , but we had a gift certificate so we had to go eventually. I am glad we went. Service was wonderful and the food was amazing. Prices are affordable, everyone in my party was really impressed with the food and especially with the service. We went on a Sunday evening, I celebrate my wedding anniversary, we had a prefixed menu with choices for our main course: Chicken Marsala with mushrooms, Red Snapper and Veal Saltimbocca. The vegetables where amazing and the Tiramisu delicious. Great place,you should go.
The place can be noisy on Saturdays, but is understandable because the restaurant is full of people, some noisier then others. Me and my family we go to Santo’s often and every time we find it very pleasant, the food is always fresh and the waiters are always helpful to accommodate as with any changes to the meal, my self I am a diabetic and my husband is lactose intolerant. We recommend the restaurant to all our friends and family.
