Why for you not get prime rib? It is best in all of KW, you can double...triple check. You will not find the better.
Wow, what a great meal. I've been touring restaurants in the area for many years and this is still my favorite. A wonderful family owned restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. We sat out in the long windowed room with the beautiful view of the Grand River. I had a Long Island cocktail that is the best I've ever tasted. It's a strong drink so be careful! For an appetizer, I had Calamari. Very generous serving. The salad bar has many dishes to choose from. They have boys keeping it stocked well. I had the lamb for my main course which came served with a delicious peppercorn sauce. My boyfriend had the Prime Rib, which he had no problem with, considering he is missing a tooth. The waitress said the Prime Rib is what has made the Golfs famous. She was very polite and prompt with everything we requested even though the restaurant was quite busy. Last but certainly not least was dessert. I had the Homemade Cheesecake. It's even better than my mother used to make in Germany. We liked it so much, we even took some to go, so me and my boyfriend could enjoy it later when we weren't so full from all the food we ate. Excellent bang for your buck!
We have been going here for years ... and when we visited on Jan 30, 2007 we were delighted to see that our prime rib dinners we believe were the best we had ever experienced here before...the waitress was very friendly...and attentive to our needs. Mike the owner was present in the restauarnt and again approached us to make sure we were happy with everything...one thing to note also is that this restaraunt is wheel chair friendly and has a service elevator to take you to the restaurant level...in our opinion this place continues to be a gem for our community
Great experience this time and always.I truly love this place never dissapointed, unless they are not seving my chocolate mousse for desert(it's soo good).great value for mid to high steakhouse.
We go this restaurant usually for special occasions and we enjoy the food very much especially the prime rib which we usually order. The place is clean and comfortable but we found the waitress that served us to be either terribly under trained or just didnt like her job..put a damper on what was supposed to be a great night...
